12% concentrate liquid Humic Acid
Our liquid Humate (Liquid Carbon) is freshwater-sourced Leonardite and is OMRI Listed. It has lots of humic, fulvic and other organic acids, over 60 macro- & micro-nutrients and natural bio-stimulants. Our liquid humate has a high humic acid content compared to others and a low percentage of ash. It enhances plant health by increasing nutrient uptake, assisting in photosynthesis, and aiding in root growth.
Humate’s story began millions of years ago, sourced from ancient, decomposed plant life, making it immediately bioavailable to soil microbes and plants. Humate is a great adjuvant (improves mix tank suspension), surfactant (aids in water percolation), and chelator (improves nutrient availability).
Our Liquid Humate has 12% Humic Acid. It enhances fertilizer applications, quickly improves plant growth response, and provides an active carbon food source to the soil microbes.
It is offered in both liquid and Granular Humate. Each can be used interchangeably, so your preferred method of application can determine which product you choose.
Benefits:
- Increases nutrient uptake and availability, especially nitrogen
- Improves fertilizer efficiency and reduces leaching
- A natural surfactant (wetting agent), a great adjuvant for tank mixes, and a natural chelator
- Aids in water percolation and reduces compaction, especially in clay soils
- Aids in root growth - enhances plant auxins
- Promotes more abundant and longer-lasting blooms
- Improves nutrient density, harvest weight, and germination rate
- Lessens the impact of environmental and/or pest stressors
- Increases the survivability of newly planted and established trees, landscapes, and grasses and helps them continue to thrive
- Increases chlorophyll synthesis to assist in photosynthesis
- Improves overall soil structure
- effectively aids in contaminant removal
- Benefits soil microorganisms as a food source
- Micron sized liquid soil conditioner, won't clog sprayers, irrigation systems, drip lines, etc.
- Extremely concentrated - low application rates make it cost effective for small projects or large operations
Ingredients: Leonardite (humic & fulvic acids) in water - 12% concentrate
Examples of application rates:
NOTE: The range of rates is dependent upon current soil conditions; good soils use less, and poor soils need more. For agriculture/gardens, if applied in furrow (right around plants), use a lower rate or if full broadcast (entire field/garden), use a higher rate. After a few years, rates can be cut in half.
For Direct Applications:
Mix the concentrate with the appropriate amount of water per plant or area
- 0.5 - 1 gallon per acre for row & specialty crop
- 2 - 3 oz per 1,000 sq ft for lawn or garden
- 0.25 – 0.5 oz per inch circumference for trees
- 0.25 - 0.5 oz per medium-sized plant
For Tank Mixes: (compost teas, fertilizers & nutrient mixes)
- Blend 0.5 - 2 oz conc per gallon of diluted fertilizer or other mixes and apply at the manufacturer's recommended rates
Suggestions:
- Use as a soil drench, in furrow, center pivot, deep root injection, as a foliar application or any other way you're watering
- Reduce the volume of nutrients/fertilizer inputs by a minimum of 10-20%
- Our humate is also available in granular form - see granular Humate
