Blended into the living soil is VITAL Blend granular (biochar and humate). The BioChar keeps nutrients and water within the critical root zone (less leaching). The humate (humic & fulvic acids) facilitate in the nutrient and water absorption.

To enhance our living soil's superpowers even more, you can add our liquid VITAL Blend 5M at a rate of 1-4 oz per plant throughout the grow. And to make it even better, add our AGx Whole Fish Hydrolysate as a soil drench or foliar application to give even more of a boost.

Ingredients & their Benefits:

Multiple sources we're chosen to ensure a healthy variety of nutrients the way nature intended it, to be released at various times throughout the growing cycle

• Biochar - permanent housing for soil microbes, adds structure to and increases water holding capacity in the soil, and removes contaminants (like salt)
• Humate (humic & fulvic acids) - helps plants uptake nutrients & water, provides lots of micronutrients (food for soil microbes), improves fertilizer efficiency, and reduces soil compaction
• Beneficial Bacteria - drives cycling of organic matter, secretes enzymes that make soil nutrients more available, and helps with disease suppression
• Endo/Ecto-Mycorrhizae - fungi extends the reach of the plant’s roots for available water and nutrients in the soil, improves soil’s water holding capacity, and cycles organic matter in the soil
• Worm Castings – is nutrient rich, an additional source of soil microbes, and improves soil’s water/nutrient retention
• Peat Moss - helps with drainage, is a clean growing medium (sterile), adds organic matter, and is ideal for lowering the soil’s pH for mineral availability
• Volcanic Pumice - improves soil structure, good for aeration, reduces nutrient leaching, and helps reduce compaction
• North Atlantic Kelp - chock full of micronutrients, aids plant’s stress response, and improves growth hormone production
• Sunflower-hull Potash - good source of soluble potassium, which helps nitrogen uptake and utilization, promotes protein synthesis, and regulates water inside the plant
• Michigan Humus - a good source of organic matter and calcium, makes soils more friable, and is an additional source of soil microbes
• Green Sand – a rich source of glauconite, which contains iron, potassium, and magnesium, helps loosen and condition soil, and improves pest resistance
• Whole Fish Hydrolysate - improves nutrient mobility, saves up to 18% of the energy used during protein synthesis, extends photosynthesis, and promotes soil microbes
• Chitosan derivatives - improves the plant's resistance to diseases and stress and enhances yield and quality of harvest
• Chelated Silica - strengthens plant cells for better tolerance to drought and frost and increases resistance to diseases and stress
• Blood Meal - good food source for soil biology, a (medium speed release) source of nitrogen, and encourages lush foliage
• Feather Meal - rich in proteins, a (slow release) source of nitrogen, and contains trace elements and nutrients
• Crustacean Meal – good, (slow release) source of nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium, aids in plant pest defense, and promotes soil biology
• Dolomitic Lime – good source of calcium and magnesium, helps balance soil’s pH, boosts root development, and strengthens plant cell walls
• Gypsum - good source of calcium and sulfur, aids in chlorophyll production, improves soil structure, and helps water and air penetrate the soil more easily
