30% Vinegar organic foliar herbicide

Our 30% Vinegar is an organic herbicide that kills herbaceous and woody plant material on contact. It is a non-selective herbicide that is 30% high-concentration Acetic acid. It's considered more environmentally friendly, replacing other herbicides, including glyphosate (Round Up).

The Vinegar is a contact herbicide that ruptures the plant tissue, causing the plant to dry out. It may require multiple applications, but breaks down quickly in the soil (little to no effect on the soil microbes or neighboring plant roots). Top growth can be expected to die off within 2 - 4 hours. Applied properly, it will have little to no effect on soil pH. Using a high volume will only temporarily change the pH of the topsoil (for less than 5 days).

Blending Rates:

• For woody or larger plants: Use as is, (right out of the bottle)
• For herbaceous and smaller plants: Dilute 2:1 ratio (2 parts Vinegar to 1 part water)

Suggestions:

• Research shows that using less than a 20% concentration is not effective
• Wear appropriate PPE when mixing or applying
• Be thorough with your application, foliar spray the entire plant for a complete kill
• Be Cautious; the Vinegar is a non-selective herbicide, it doesn't discriminate between weeds & your lawn
• Weather considerations: wind and rain can cause unintended overspray and offsite kill
