Granular Humate (humic and fulvic acids)
Our granular Humate (Humalite Ag4) is freshwater-sourced Leonardite and is OMRI-listed. It has lots of humic, fulvic and other organic acids, over 60 macro- & micro-nutrients, and natural bio-stimulants. The coffee ground-sized humate has a high humic acid content compared to others, a low percentage of ash, and is not dusty. It enhances plant health by increasing nutrient uptake, assisting in photosynthesis, and aiding in root growth.
Humate’s story began millions of years ago, sourced from ancient, decomposed plant life, making it immediately bioavailable to soil microbes and plants. Humate is a great adjuvant (improves soil texture & prevents compaction), surfactant (aids in water percolation), and chelator (improves nutrient availability).
It enhances fertilizer applications, quickly improves plant growth response, and provides an active carbon food source to the soil microbes.
Our Humate is offered in both granular and Liquid Humate. Each can be used interchangeably, so your preferred method of application can determine which product you choose.
Approved as a Livestock Feed Additive - It has been specially labeled for Livestock Feed Additive
Benefits:
- Increases nutrient uptake and availability, especially nitrogen
- Improves fertilizer efficiency and reduces leaching
- A natural surfactant (wetting agent), a great adjuvant (improves soil texture), and a natural chelator
- Granular humate excels in removing soil contaminants such as salts, petroleum and toxins
- Aids in water percolation and reduces compaction, especially in clay soils
- Aids in root growth - enhances plant auxins
- Promotes more abundant and longer lasting blooms
- Improves nutrient density, harvest weight and germination rate
- Lessens the impact of environmental and/or pest stressors
- Increases survivability of newly planted and established trees, landscapes, and grasses and helps them continue to thrive
- Increases chlorophyll synthesis to assist in photosynthesis
- Improves overall soil structure
- Benefits soil microorganisms as a food source
Ingredients: Leonardite (humic & fulvic acids)
Examples of application rates:
NOTE: The range of rates is dependent upon current soil conditions, good soils use less and poor soils need more. For agriculture/gardens if applied in furrow (right around plants) use lower rate or full broadcasted (entire field/garden) use higher rate. After a few years, rates can be cut in half.
- 0.25 – 0.5 cf per 1,000 sq ft
- 0.5 – 1 cy per acre
- 1 - 3 cups per inch circumference for trees
- 0.5 cups per medium size plant
Suggestions:
- Reduce the volume of nutrients/fertilizer input by a minimum of 10-20%
- Humate can be applied directly or combined with composts, fertilizers, manures, etc.
- Our Humate is also available in liquid form - see liquid Humate
